Our Story
InternMatch was born from a simple observation: the Sri Lankan internship market was stuck in the past. Thousands of talented undergraduates were throwing standard PDF CVs into a “CV Black Hole,” facing total silence and uncertainty. Meanwhile, HR managers were trapped in the “Post & Pray” cycle, wasting hours manually sorting through flooded inboxes of unverified, messy PDFs.
Built by a team of Sri Lankan undergraduates who understand this struggle firsthand, we decided to change the system. We replaced outdated job boards with smart algorithmic matching and a unique “High-Friction Evidence” model.
Today, InternMatch is Sri Lanka’s only dedicated internship platform that relies on official .ac.lk validation, verified exam results, and 45-second video pitches. We make sure true talent stands out, and companies hire smarter.
